Overview

Magento 2 Westpac PayWay Net Payments extension allows you to take credit card payments through the PayWay API on your Magento 2 website.

Your customers can pay with Visa and Mastercard by default and with American Express, Diners Club, and JCB after being activated by Westpac Bank.

Account & Pricing

In order to use the extension, you need to have a merchant account provided by PayWay, and they will give you the credentials to access Merchant Portal

How it works

It directs your customers to a secure payment form (hosted on the PayWay server) during the checkout process. Once they’ve paid, they’ll be redirected back to your website.

Security & PCI Compliance

The extension uses PayWay Net Integration. You can allow your customers to enter their sensitive card data on a page that is hosted on the PayWay payment website. Therefore, you do not have to comply with PCI/DSS regulations.

Installation

Extract the file into app/code/PL/PaywayNet/
From a terminal, run the following commands:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f
php bin/magento cache:clean

Setting up PayWay Net

Step 1: Sign into PayWay

Step 2: Settings > PayWay Modules > PayWay Net

Step 3: Choose Setup Hosted Payment Page

Choose Bill Payments/Shopping Cart - secure shopping cart handoff
